NEW YORK, NY and Los Angeles, May 4, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- via PRWEB - The New York Film Academy announced that the College is providing a unique intensive hands-on workshop to Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) warriors, their caregivers, and families. This special program is being offered by the New York Film Academy Foundation free of charge in partnership with the Wounded Warrior Project and will take place on May 6, 2015 at their Los Angeles campus.

The daylong event will feature a tour of the New York Film Academy's state-of-art Burbank facilities, a filmmaking and acting workshop taught by the Film Academy's esteemed faculty that includes internationally recognized filmmakers and actors. In addition to the workshops, NYFA will screen "True Romance" featuring award winning actor Tom Sizemore. A Q+A with Mr. Sizemore will follow the screening.
