NAC Global Technologies HGT Drives Receive Approval by Swiss Manufacturer

JACKSONVILLE, FL--(Marketwired - May 6, 2015) - NAC Global Technologies (OTCQB: NACG) announced today the successful test and approval of its Harmonic Gearing Drives by a Swiss machine tool manufacturer. The Swiss account specializes in the design and manufacture of precision machinery for the watch making, jewelry, and medical industries. Having completed the manufacturer's validation process, the companies plan to implement NAC drives into production machinery. Additionally, the companies are working to extend NAC drives into additional applications with testing commenced on a second NAC drive version and engineering discussions engaged on a third.

Vincent Genovese, Chairman and CEO of NAC, commented, "The successful testing and implementation by the Swiss in a notable application such as watch making further validates our NAC's drive technology and its precision capabilities. Devices today are getting smaller and smarter. If we look around us, miniature technology is everywhere, from smart phones, to medical devices, to unmanned drones. All of these devices are linked to precision motion, in that they are physical in nature and must be manufactured and assembled. That is where NAC's technology comes in. We may not be part of a smart phone that ships to the customer, but we are part of the technology that enables these devices to exist and be manufactured. If you take semiconductors for instance, we all know more and more powerful chips are being made every year. Did you ever ask yourself how that is possible or, for that matter, how so much electronics can be put into a small device like your cell phone? For starters, you need precision motion to physically move the parts during the manufacturing process, whether it be the making of the semi-conductor or in the robots placing those chips into your phone on the assembly line. The smarter our electronics are, the smaller and more precise those precision machine moves must be. That is the core of NAC's business. To understand our business, one can perhaps visualize an automated production line assembling high tech electronics. NAC Harmonic Gearing Technology offers manufacturers extreme precision in their motion control, but there is more. The precision of our drives is maintained over their lifetime, whereas standard motion control devices, like gearing and friction drives, immediately start to wear. Performance levels degrade on day one of production. With NAC harmonics, the performance and quality level is maintained. This is a critical attribute to NAC's drive technology. For manufacturers of production machinery, long life, consistent precision performance with low maintenance are all important factors NAC delivers. For us, it is exciting to see our technology being applied in so many diverse applications that today span from medical devices, robots, major film movie cameras, nuclear reactor inspection, defense communication systems, to weather service satellites, semi-conductor manufacturing, and now Swiss watch making."
