Southern Concepts Restaurant Group President Featured on the Cover of Opportunist Magazine

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo., May 11, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Mitchell Roth, President of Southern Concepts Restaurant Group, Inc. (OTCQB:RIBS), was recently featured on the May cover of Opportunist Magazine.

In the feature, Managing Editor Leslie Stone engages in a Q&A with Roth about the trend toward fast-casual restaurants, as well as his commitment to the company and why he wants to change the way barbecue is perceived in the United States.

"Millennials want a more convenient experience, but demand much higher quality than what traditional QSRs offer, opting instead for offerings by companies like Noodles & Co., Shake Shack, Chipotle, and Panera," said Roth. "There's not a great barbecue player in the fast-casual space right now, so we see a tremendous opportunity to take our full-service barbecue product with the same high-quality ingredients offered in our full-service Southern Hospitality restaurants and apply it to a more convenient 2,500-square-foot fast-casual restaurant operation. I think we will change the way barbecue is perceived in this country."

Southern Concepts Restaurant Group is the umbrella management company of Southern Hospitality Restaurant and Bar, and Southern Hospitality Southern Kitchen. The company plans to open two fast-casual units by the end of 2015.
