YIT carries out Helsinki Vocational College renovation worth around EUR 24 million in Helsinki, Finland
YIT has signed a contract with the Premises Centre of the Real Estate Department of the City of Helsinki on the renovation of Helsinki Vocational College’s premises at Prinsessantie. The contract’s value for YIT is approximately EUR 24 million. The work is set to begin immediately, and will be carried out in three phases. The final phase will be complete in the spring of 2018.
The renovation will cover the building’s structural and building systems as well as its educational facilities. The premises will be renovated to serve education in the fields of hotel, restaurant and catering services, the tourism industry, food production and environmental studies. Helsinki Vocational College’s building at Prinsessantie 2 has been built in 1978.
