Global Technology Selects ANADIGICS Infrastructure Line Amplifier for DOCSIS 3.1 Equipment

(Nasdaq:ANAD) ("ANADIGICS" or the "Company"), a world leader in radio frequency (RF) solutions, today announced that the Company is shipping production volumes of its ACA1216 surface mount line amplifier to Global Technology, a leading ODM for CATV equipment serving major OEMs from around the world and wholly-owned subsidiary of Applied Optoelectronics, in support of new DOCSIS 3.1 CATV infrastructure equipment. The DOCSIS 3.1 standard specifies an extended frequency range, enabling providers to offer higher data speeds as well as additional high-definition television (HDTV) and video on demand (VOD) services.
