Silver Airways is advancing the more than $5,000 in expenses for each of its new hire pilots to complete Aerosim’s ATP CTP training and written exam.  Once completed, pilots will go through Silver Airways’ new hire training to receive their Airline Transport Pilot Certificate (ATP) and Saab 340 type rating.

Aerosim’s program, selected as the sole third-party provider for the ATP CTP, meets and exceeds all FAA Part 142 rules.

“Aerosim’s industry-leading expertise combined with Silver Airways’ financial support will allow us to continue building a strong pipeline of pilots by providing the financial support necessary for pilots to bridge the gap from training to flying,” said Silver Airways head of pilot recruiting Mary Chevalier.  “We’re thrilled to further expand our partnership with Aerosim and fuel the pilot movement.”

“Aerosim was one of the first Part 142 organizations to have received certification for its ATP CTP early last October of 2014 and has since successfully provided the ATP CTP to over 100 pilots,” said Rick Brown, Director of Aerosim Training Solutions.  “Aerosim Training Solutions is excited to extend the ATP CTP training to Silver Airways, strengthening our existing relationship.”

This agreement further expands Silver Airways’ existing Pilot Pathway Program that was established with Aerosim Flight Academy over a year-and-a-half ago.
