UK COURT OF APPEAL RULES IN FAVOUR OF APPEAL IN EUROTUNNEL/SEAFRANCE CASE

Copenhagen, 2015-05-15 11:10 CEST (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Announcement nr. 41

Today, the UK Court of Appeal (COA) ruled in favour of SCOP’s appeal against the decision by the UK Competition Appeal Tribunal of 9 January 2015 to uphold the decision of the UK Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) banning Eurotunnel/SCOP from operating ferries out of Dover as of 9 July 2015.

DFDS is highly surprised by this ruling, which runs counter to the consistent findings of the UK competition authorities and specialist appeal body since 2012.

DFDS will now review the ruling and consider all options for appealing the decision.
