North Shore Day Spa - Olga's to Donate Profits to Lynn Sage Cancer Research Foundation

Five Star Day Spa Launches "Live to Give" Marketing Program Donating Profits to Support Women's Causes And Give Back to the Community.

HIGHLAND PARK, ILL., May 19, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Olga's Day Spa of Highland Park announced today that it has created a strategic alliance with the Lynn Sage Cancer Research Foundation and will donate all profits on spa treatments and services to the charity for the remainder of this year.

General Manager of Olga's, Dani Noyes said, "no longer does the phrase "guilty pleasure" apply to a relaxing spa treatment – at least not when that massage, facial or pedicure is booked at Olga's Day Spa in downtown Highland Park."  The five star rated spa has created the "Live 2 Give" marketing program that allows guests to pamper themselves at the spa and at the same time, give back to their community as a result of this new cause based fundraising campaign.

The new owner of Olga's is a long time Highland Park resident and very committed to giving back to the community.  Together, along with the management and staff at the day spa have decided to "give back" to the community by committing 100% of the profits from the business to support the causes and concerns felt most deeply by its clientele.  Ms. Noyes said, "With this generous commitment from our owner, we've now established a unique business model that allows our clients to leave Olga's looking good…feeling good…and now doing good as well."

Each year Olga's will identify a few key non-profit organizations that it will work with and raise money to support.  All of the profit from sales of products and treatments will be donated to these organizations as a sign of commitment and support for the customers that spend money at the North Shore Spa.  Initially, the team at Olga's launched the program by introducing a new mineral make-up line and hand scented body care line they called 'GIVE'.  The highly trained staff of skincare experts are excited about the product quality but also because the brand name truly reinforced the overall philosophy that permeates this unique culture at the day spa.  More recently, the owners and staff at Olga's held a vote on a charitable cause and elected the Lynne Sage Cancer Research Foundation as the recipient of its fundraising efforts for 2015.  Olga's will contribute all of its profits to the Lynn Sage Foundation for Cancer Research, as each staff member agreed that breast cancer has touched their lives in some way. Each following year the staff will put it to a vote and plan to continue their giving in hopes of making a lasting and positive impact.

"Our Live 2 Give program allows our guests to improve both their inner and outer beauty," said Dani Noyes, Spa Manager. "It's a feel-good way to not only pamper yourself or someone you love, but also to make a real contribution. We are so proud to have a partner on our mission in the Lynn Sage Foundation. Our mantra here at Olga's is – look good, feel good, do good!"

Other charitable groups are also invited to make their time together even more special by taking advantage of Olga's Live 2 Give program that features a customized shop and share event for any cause. Details can be found on their website or by contacting the spa.
