Mountain America Credit Union's Amy Moser Honored as One of Utah's 30 Women to Watch by Utah Business Magazine

WEST JORDAN, UT--(Marketwired - May 21, 2015) - Mountain America Credit Union's Amy Moser was selected by Utah Business Magazine as one of Utah's top 30 Women to Watch in 2015. Moser is currently vice president of Mortgage Services for Mountain America, a leading provider of paperless mortgages.

Under Moser's leadership, Mountain America was the first financial institution to offer paperless closings on FHA and VA loans. The credit union has been doing electronic closings for over five years on conventional loans and now has the ability to both originate and close nearly every type of mortgage loan it offers. Due to this success, Moser and Mountain America were chosen by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) to participate in a pilot program for the "Know Before You Owe" campaign, which was designed to help consumers understand the documents they sign as part of the loan closing process.

"Delivering an exceptional experience is first and foremost at Mountain America," says Nathan Anderson, executive vice president/COO for the credit union. "Amy and her team are passionate about making it easy to close a loan, while saving both time and natural resources. The electronic mortgage process is just one example of how the mortgage professionals at Mountain America deliver a 'Wow!' experience."

"Making this list is an honor that I share with my entire team -- it wouldn't have been possible without them," says Moser. "It's not always easy doing something innovative. It takes courage and determination, and that is exactly what my team has."
