NIBE issues bonds totaling SEK 1.5 billion

NIBE has successfully issued bonds totaling SEK 1.5 billion under their newly established MTN-program. The program has a total size of SEK 3 billion and enables issuance of bonds in the Swedish market.


Markaryd, Sweden, 2015-05-21 16:00 CEST (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The bonds have a maturity of five years and matures at 2020/05/28. They are issued in two tranches, one with fixed rate and one with floating rate. The fixed tranche has a fixed coupon of 1.8% and the floating rate note has a coupon of 3m Stibor + 130 basis points.

“We are very pleased about successfully having been able to realize our first emission. Initially we aimed at obtaining 1 billion kronor, but since the interest from the investors was as large as 1,7 billion kronor, we decided to increase to 1,5 billion kronor. We see it as a strength to now have access also to this source of financing”, says NIBE Group CEO Gerteric Lindquist.

Danske Bank acted as the arranger of the bond issue and the bonds will be listed on NASDAQ Stockholm.
