Government of Canada Supports Expansion of Studios Framestore Inc. in Montreal

MONTRÉAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - May 25, 2015) - Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions (CED)

The Honourable Denis Lebel, Minister of Infrastructure, Communities and Intergovernmental Affairs and Minister of the Economic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Quebec, announces that Studios Framestore Inc. has been granted financial assistance to expand the enterprise in Montréal.

This support is being awarded in the form of a $1,000,000 repayable contribution through CED's Quebec Economic Development Program.

• This investment will enable the studio to meet its technology infrastructure needs and thereby acquire computer servers, equipment and tools related to cinematography, animation and visual effects.
