Pacific Mercantile Bank's Bob Bartlett Elected to Board of Directors of WISEPlace


COSTA MESA, Calif., May 26, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Pacific Mercantile Bank ("the Bank"), the wholly owned subsidiary of Pacific Mercantile Bancorp (Nasdaq:PMBC), today announced that Bob Bartlett, an Executive Vice President of Pacific Mercantile Bank, has been elected to the Board of Directors of WISEPlace, a non-profit organization that provides programs and services that inspire, support and empower women to become productive members of the community.

WISEPlace is a community of housing and hope for women in crisis. Formerly the South Orange County YWCA, WISEPlace has a 90-year history of caring for local women, children and families. By meeting basic needs such as housing, clothing, physical and emotional nourishment, as well as vocational and life skills training, the WISEPlace Hotel for Women is one of the few places homeless women can go to begin again.
