CLEVELAND, Ohio, May 26, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- via PRWEB - The 12th Policy Summit on Housing, Human Capital, and Inequality will bring together several hundred policymakers, community development practitioners, academics, and funders on June 18-19, 2015, at the Omni William Penn Hotel in Pittsburgh to discuss issues of vital interest to our communities. The forum is sponsored by the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland in partnership with the Federal Reserve Banks of Philadelphia and Richmond.
For the first time, the Policy Summit will convene in Pittsburgh, a city known as much for its vibrant resurgence as its industrial past. The city's renaissance will be the focus of one of the 18 conference sessions, while another will examine the revitalization of Pittsburgh's East Liberty neighborhood. A third session will highlight innovative approaches to community and economic development being used by Pittsburgh and by Philadelphia, on the opposite side of the state.
Loretta J. Mester, president and chief executive officer of the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland, will close the event with a luncheon keynote address on June 19.

The registration fee is $195; $145 for nonprofits. Members of the news media may attend free of charge, but must register in advance.
