New Mirror Lakes community members attend an orientation with HOA board members upon moving into the neighborhood. Each homeowner is provided a resident directory, subscription to the monthly Newsletter Connections and a schedule of events for the community club. Meet Your Neighbor Desserts are scheduled quarterly and the Computer Club meets bi-weekly to discover and share information. Last year, close to 50 events were held including a Poolside Pancake Breakfast, Chili Cook-Off, Western Round-Up, Mother's Day Tea, Oktoberfest Celebration, a Winter Wonderland gathering, Super Bowl Party and two Health Fairs.
The Florida Communities of Excellence Awards Ceremony took place on May 15 at the Bonaventure Resort & Spa in Weston, Florida.
