msg life publishes financial data for the first quarter of 2015 

(Leinfelden-Echterdingen, 28 May 2015) - msg life ag (ISIN DE0005130108)
published its financial report for the first quarter of 2015 today. It
reveals that the company generated aggregate turnover of 26.6 million euros
(as at 31 March 2014: 23.9 million euros) and earnings before interest,
taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) of 2.0 million euros (as at
31 March 2014: 6.2 million euros). The decrease in earnings compared to the
same period in the previous year is the result of non-recurring effects
from the disposal of the Banking segment which were recognised in the first
quarter of 2014. These quarterly figures show that the company has
maintained its performance after the good 2014 financial year without
faltering and is entirely in line with its annual budget in terms of
turnover and earnings.

At 5.4 million euros, the cash flow from operating activities is another
positive result which demonstrates that the company is operating
profitably. As at 31 March 2015, equity was 43.0 million euros and the
equity ratio was 52.4 per cent. As at the end of the first quarter of 2015,
msg life's workforce consisted of 866 employees (as at 31 March 2014: 881
employees).

In view of the current market and sales situation, the msg life Group
continues to expect to generate turnover of roughly 105.0 million euros and
earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA) of
about 8.0 million euros in the 2015 financial year.

Simultaneously, msg life is working continuously on the further
implementation of its strategic development, in which context the company
is currently focusing on sustainably stronger cooperation within the msg
Group. The integration of our core product msg.Life Factory and its
components into msg.Insurance Suite, the central insurance platform of the
msg Group, is an important aspect in this regard, as is the sales-oriented
collaboration taking place in this context. This platform represents the
first holistic industrial standard for all sectors of the insurance
industry.
