Radware’s ADC Solution Helps China Railway Build Next Generation e-Ticketing System

Latest Security Feature Helps Help Identify Threats Posed by Advanced Bots Regardless of the Source IP Address

MAHWAH, N.J., May 28, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Radware® (Nasdaq:RDWR), a leading provider of cyber security and application delivery solutions ensuring optimal service level for applications in virtual, cloud and software defined data centers, today announced that China Railway has deployed a series of Radware’s application delivery controller (ADC) solutions in the second phase of its e-Ticketing System.

Due to the exponential growth of internet users accessing China Railway’s online site on a 24/7 basis, they faced network challenges on their eTicketing system. In order to address this issue, they were in need of a secure and robust platform to help maintain a robust level of customer satisfaction. Through a stringent selection process and proof of concept, China Railway selected Radware’s Alteon® NG 6420 and Alteon NG 5224 ADCs, to help build their next generation platform.

Radware’s ADCs provide superior performance coupled with advanced capabilities such as virtualization, integrated application acceleration and on-demand scalability needed to effectively meet the needs of the data center and network of a large enterprise, like China Railway. In addition, both Alteon platforms allows customers to only pay for the exact capacity they use, which helps prevent overspending.

Helping extend China Railway’s investment, additional throughput capacity, acceleration capabilities, application-aware services and multiple vADC instances can easily be added on demand to meet new business requirements through a simple software license upgrade with no forklift upgrades of the device, nor service interruption.

Additionally, China Railway also enhances its customer’s Quality of Experience by using the embedded Application Performance Management module, which will provide real time visibility on what is actually being used and offers a “drilldown” of information for fast and accurate root-cause resolution.
