(Nasdaq:CGIX) ("CGI" or "The Company"), an emerging leader in DNA-based cancer diagnostics, announced today the presentation of results from a research collaboration with Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center at the 2015 American Society of Clinical Oncology Annual Meeting, taking place at the McCormick Place Convention Center in Chicago, Illinois on May 29-June 2, 2015. The findings of the study, led Dr. Robert Motzer, MD at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and Dr. Jane Houldsworth, PhD at CGI, showcase that novel copy number alterations detected by whole genome comparative genomic hybridization may provide insight into sunitinib resistance in patients with advanced renal cell carcinoma.
