Tele2 hosts NGMN board meeting in Stockholm


Stockholm - Tele2 AB (Tele2), (NASDAQ OMX Stockholm Exchange: TEL2 A and TEL2 B)
will host the next NGMN Board meeting in Stockholm on the 2nd and 3rd of June.
The NGMN Alliance (Next Generation Mobile Networks Alliance) is an open forum
founded by world-leading mobile network operators. Its goal is to ensure that
the standards for next generation network infrastructure, service platforms and
devices will meet the requirements of operators and, ultimately, will satisfy
end user demand and expectations.

The NGMN board consist of executives from the world’s largest telecom operators.
Each board meeting is hosted by one of the members in their country. This time
it is hosted by Tele2 AB and Niklas Sonkin, EVP and acting CTIO.

In March 2015, NGMN released a white paper on 5G where they delivered key end-to
-end operator requirements intended to guide the development of future
technology platforms and related standards, create new business oppurtunities
