Long View's Sarah Malcolm-Morreau named to 2015 CRN Women of the Channel list

CALGARY, Alberta and DENVER, June 1, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Long View is pleased to announce that Director of Licensing and Software Asset Management Sarah Malcolm-Morreau has been named to The Channel Company's prestigious 2015 CRN® Women of the Channel.

The annual list honors outstanding female executives across vendor channel organizations, distributors, and solution providers, as well as other women prominently involved in the IT channel ecosystem, for their successes and the far-reaching impact they are having on the technology industry going forward.

This year's Women of the Channel were carefully reviewed and selected by the editors of CRN based on their accomplishments and the influence they wield over the technology channel.

Sarah Morreau is the leader of Long View's Licensing and Software Asset Management Practice (SYNC) for North America. During her four years as Director, Long View's SYNC practice has seen exponential growth. Under her guidance, Long View clients are gaining better control of their software assets, while creating significant cost savings and realizing exceptional cost avoidance on licensing and hardware support contracts — and, as a result, revenues within the practice continue to exceed all expectations.

Sarah Morreau, based in Vancouver, Canada, has spent 16 years in the channel.

"These executives have made a lasting mark on the industry, expanding the breadth of influence in the technology channel," says Robert Faletra, CEO, The Channel Company. "We congratulate the Women of the Channel, and celebrate their innovative contributions and commitment to the IT channel community."

"They say success breeds success, and that's definitely the case with our SYNC program with Sarah at the helm," says Gord Mawhinney, Long View's Chief Executive Officer. "Sarah is brilliant and resourceful, and maintains a clear-eyed focus for the SYNC program as we plan further expansion across Canada and the U.S. It's no coincidence that Sarah's team of licensing specialists is among the best in the industry."

The Women of the Channel will be featured in the June issue of CRN, and online at www.CRN.com.
