West Corporation Acquires SharpSchool


OMAHA, Neb., June 2, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- West Corporation (Nasdaq:WSTC), a leading provider of technology-enabled communication services, today announced it has completed the acquisition of substantially all of the assets of Intrafinity, Inc., doing business as SharpSchool, a leading provider of website and content management system (CMS) software-as-a-service solutions for the K-12 education market. The purchase price was approximately $19 million. SharpSchool will be integrated into West's SchoolMessenger business.

SharpSchool was founded in 2001 and has earned a reputation for excellence in product development and innovation. SharpSchool currently serves approximately 4,500 schools in 900 districts throughout the U.S.
