Discovia Hires Trio of Forensics Specialists Led by Prominent Cyber Security and Discovery Expert Dr. Bruce Hartley

The acquisition of this talented team adds proven expertise and wider geographical coverage to Discovia's industry-leading forensics, analytics, and data security unit.

Dr. Hartley joins Discovia as Vice President, based in Greenville, South Carolina. He will assist law firms, corporate legal departments and federal, state and local governments with corporate governance, internal investigations, data collection, data forensics and analytics, data security, and technology consulting. He has over 25 years of technical and managerial experience in electronic discovery, digital forensics, cyber security, and technology.

Dr. Hartley offers expertise across the entire litigation lifecycle, leading teams in support of large FCPA investigations, class action lawsuits, SEC investigations, HSR Second Requests, DOJ investigations, and assisting clients with the integration of discovery-related technologies, such as those developed by HP Autonomy, Inc. He also has experience as an expert witness in support of multiple litigations involving such issues as electronic mail fraud, software development process and contracts, data destruction, and intellectual property disputes. He holds two technology patents, one in the software architecture space and the other in the information security sector.

Prior to joining Discovia, Dr. Hartley served as vice president at Celerity Consulting Group and before that was the national director of discovery services with Deloitte Financial Advisory Services. He holds a doctorate in computer science from Colorado Technical University, a M.A. in computer data management from Webster University, and a B.S, in technical management and computer science from Regis College. Notably, he is also a Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP).

Anthony Locke joins Discovia as senior forensics manager, based in Denver, Colorado. He has over 26 years of managerial and technical experience in e-Discovery, forensics and technology with particular expertise in digital forensics, security engineering, system development, and project management. Mr. Locke has managed, overseen and been responsible for the technical creation of several large system development and integration projects through the implementation phase.

Prior to joining Discovia, Mr. Locke served as director of technical services at Celerity Consulting Group. His other executive management experience includes roles as senior manager for the electronic discovery unit of Deloitte Financial Advisory Services, executive vice president at Privisec, Inc., vice president and chief technology officer at PoliVec, Inc., vice president of software development at DMW Worldwide, and director of operations at Trident Data Systems. He holds a BS in electrical engineering from the University of Wyoming and a M.S. in electrical engineering from West Coast University.

Vladimir Kamenev joins Discovia as senior forensics manager, based in Nashville, Tennessee. He has over 15 years of technical and production experience in e-Discovery, forensics and technology. His client expertise includes evaluation of legacy systems and procedures, configuration and performance optimization of enterprise applications, identification and preservation of systems as part of the litigation process, and performing defensible forensic data collections from a variety of systems and sources. Mr. Kamenev is an EnCase Certified Computer Forensic Examiner (EnCE) and a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).

Prior to joining Discovia, Kamenev was a director of the litigation technology integration practice at Celerity Consulting. He also has over a decade of experience with both Deloitte Financial Advisory Services and Deloitte Tax Services. He was a senior manager at Deloitte where he built and supervised the forensics lab in Washington, D.C. and led the engineering team at the Deloitte Electronic Discovery Center. He holds a master's degree in information systems and accounting as well as an undergraduate degree in accounting from the University of Tulsa.
