Beazley expands its small business team

Nicholas Little and Timothy Regilio join the US private enterprise team on the West Coast

SAN FRANCISCO, June 8, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Specialist insurer Beazley has appointed Nicholas Little and Timothy Regilio to the company's private enterprise team, which focuses on the professional liability needs of small businesses.

Mr. Little has worked at Beazley this past year on the technology, media and business services team based in London, and is relocating to San Francisco to strengthen the company's small business underwriting presence in the United States. Prior to joining Beazley, he worked at CFC Underwriting as a cyber, technology and media underwriter for three years. Before his position with CFC, he was an assistant underwriter with QBE European Operations for two years.

Mr. Regilio was formerly a business development manager with AIG, where he worked for eight years in increasingly responsible roles to help grow market share in that company's small and mid-sized commercial market.  As a Beazley territory manager based in San Francisco, he will be responsible for strengthening broker relationships in the Western region of the United States.

Jamie Orye, head of the US private enterprise technology, media & business services underwriting team said:  "We are pleased to have an underwriter of Nicholas' caliber and an insurance professional with Timothy's experience join our small business team.  Both already have strong relationships with many brokers on the West Coast.  Not only does it show our continued commitment to our brokers, but it strengthens our underwriting and marketing support in an area of the country in the forefront of technology growth opportunities."

Mr. Little's underwriting focus will be primarily on Beazley's technology products such as Beazley Breach Response, the company's flagship breach response offering, and AFB Media Tech® E &O, one of the country's most robust policies available for technology and business service companies.  In addition to the aforementioned products, Mr. Regilio will also uncover market opportunities for the company's MPL Secure Miscellaneous E &0, and Miscellaneous Medical Professional and General Liability products.
