New Investment Advisors to Serve Wealth Needs of More Clients


NEW YORK, June 9, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- City National Bank, America's Premier Private and Business BankSM, announced today that it has hired three experienced wealth advisers to grow its East Coast operations and better meet the financial and wealth management needs of clients in New York and the surrounding area.

City National entered New York in 2002 primarily to serve entertainment clients and has grown to serve wealthy families, nonprofits and professional services firms throughout the region. City National has brought in three exceptionally experienced new colleagues including Anthony Savino as a senior vice president and senior private banker in the bank's Park Avenue office. Savino is responsible for providing highly personalized banking, investment and credit solutions for high-net-worth clients. Prior to joining City National, Savino served as a private banker with Morgan Stanley, and was responsible for a $2 billion credit portfolio.

Alan Wolberg has joined City National as a senior vice president and senior wealth planner. He provides comprehensive wealth and tax planning services to high- and ultra-high-net-worth clients. Wolberg joined City National from Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he served as director and senior wealth strategist. With more than 25 years of experience in wealth planning, Wolberg is knowledgeable in multigenerational wealth transfer, charitable tax planning, financial planning, cash-flow analytics and wealth replacement strategies.

Carolyn J. Finer has joined City National as a private investment consultant. She is responsible for working with the bank's Private Client Services team to develop tailored investment management analyses and solutions for high-net-worth private clients and also private foundations and endowments.  

Finer has more than two decades of experience in the investment management industry and served as a private wealth advisor and senior portfolio manager with UBS Financial Services. She holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Institute.
