BROOMFIELD, Colo., June 9, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Noodles & Company (Nasdaq:NDLS), serving classic noodle and pasta dishes from around the world, expanded into Canada today, opening its first restaurant in Toronto. The new restaurant is located in Toronto's TD Centre at 66 Wellington Street West.

Noodles & Company's menu consists of more than 25 fresh, customizable dishes that are prepared quickly with quality ingredients like antibiotic-free, naturally raised pork, organic tofu and 14 fresh vegetables that are prepped daily in the restaurant. Noodles & Company has more than 450 restaurant locations across the United States and prepares each dish cooked to order.
The menu has something for everyone, ranging from low calorie, vegetarian, gluten free or low-fat options, to globally inspired favorites, including the spicy Indonesian Peanut Sauté, zesty Penne Rosa and the popular Wisconsin Mac & Cheese.
The company will also be opening with their newest items for summer: BUFF Bowls. Four of Noodles & Company's most popular pasta bowls – Japanese Pan, Whole Grain Tuscan Fresca, Pesto Cavatappi and Bangkok Curry – are now available in the buff. Each BUFF Bowl features a double portion of veggies, topped with protein and served on a bed of spinach in place of the noodles, for a dish low in carbohydrates, full of flavor and under 400 calories.
Noodles & Company also recently introduced a new catering program that will be available at this new location, serving groups anywhere from 10 to 200. Noodles Catering includes the company's NoodlesBar offering, serving buffet style meals for 20 or more people comprised of main entrées, sides and desserts, as well as A La Carte individual pans that serve up to 10 people each and are great for adding variety to larger spreads or feeding a small get together.
The 2,900 square-foot Toronto TD Centre Noodles & Company has seating for 69 guests inside the dining room and will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday.
