NEW YORK, June 09, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- William R. Dauber (or “Bill” as we fondly called him) joined JS Barkats PLLC in August 2014 as partner and head of the Corporate Securities group. Bill was an outstanding corporate lawyer whose expertise and professionalism were unparalleled and left an indelible impression upon colleagues and clients who were fortunate to receive his counsel.
Bill always went the extra mile to help his clients and colleagues and was a lawyer of prodigious intellect and productivity. We sorely miss Bill and will forever keep in our hearts his quick smile and tireless devotion to his wife and son. Bill was our friend, a loving husband and a devoted father. Our thoughts and prayers are with Bill’s family at this very difficult time.

“William Robert (Bill) Dauber beloved father, husband, brother, uncle and son died unexpectedly on June 8, 2015 at the age of 52 at his home in West Orange, NJ.
Bill is survived by his loving wife (Kimberly) and son (Milton); his mother, Joan Dauber; and his sisters Judy Grove, Sue Hoare, and Nancy Certain and nieces/nephews: Evan Hoare, Rebecca Hoare, Rachel Grove and Jennifer Grove.
Bill was born in Philadelphia on November 22, 1962 to Joan and Milton. He was an accomplished corporate and securities lawyer. On June 10, 2001, he married the love of his life, Kimberley Shea, and on May 16, 2002 he welcomed his pride and joy, Milton A. Dauber into the world.
Bill’s two life passions were family and taekwondo. Bill was a devoted father and more than anything, he enjoyed the time spent with Kim and Milton at sporting events (both professional and school). They traveled the country together to share various sporting experiences. His life embodied the basic philosophies of his other love, taekwondo: courtesy, integrity, perseverance, patience, self-discipline, and invincibility of spirit. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
A funeral service is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at Bernheim Apter Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, 68 Old Short Hills Road, Livingston, NJ 07039. Rabbi Cooper will officiate.
The family will be observing shiva and receive condolences at the home from 7pm-9pm on June 10, 2015, with Ma’ariv recited at 7:30pm.
In lieu of flowers, a college fund will be established for Milton in Bill’s memory.”
