(the "Bank"), announced today that the Bank has hired Pedro Velazquez, as Assistant Vice President, Sales and Service Manager for the bank's Charlotte market retail banking operations.

Pedro Velazquez brings 19 years of retail banking experience to HomeTrust. He has spent the past eight years in the Charlotte market managing retail banking centers for Wells Fargo and most recently Bank of America. Prior to Charlotte, he spent several years in New York City in bank leadership roles building and developing market share for several banking centers. Pedro received a Liberal Arts Associate Degree from Central Piedmont Community College, Charlotte and is fluent in English and Spanish. He is a member of the Association of Latino Professionals in Finance and Accounting, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Charlotte and previously served on the leadership team of H.O.L.A (Hispanic Organization for Leadership Advancement).
