Coalspur Scheme of Arrangement Becomes Effective


VANCOUVER, British Columbia, June 10, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Coalspur Mines Limited ("Coalspur" or "Company") (ASX:CPL) (TSX:CPT) is pleased to advise that a copy of the orders of the Federal Court of Australia ("Court") approving the scheme of arrangement pursuant to which KC Euroholdings S.à r.l. ("KCE") will acquire all of the ordinary shares in Coalspur ("Scheme") has been lodged with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission and the Scheme has become legally effective. A copy of the Court's orders is attached.

Coalspur shares will be suspended from trading on the Australian Securities Exchange ("ASX") and the Toronto Stock Exchange ("TSX") at the close of trade today, 11 June 2015.

Coalspur shareholders who hold shares on 18 June 2015 will be entitled to receive the Scheme consideration of A$0.023 per share which will be paid within five business days of implementation of the Scheme. The implementation date for the Scheme is expected to be 25 June 2015.
