Correction of Errors in KHD's Consolidated Financial Statements
Cologne, Germany, June 19, 2015 - In connection with a detailed analysis of
projects in the execution phase, errors in the measurement of individual
projects in the 2014 financial year have been identified. These errors
relate to the US subsidiary of KHD Humboldt Wedag International AG (KHD),
Cologne.
The exact amounts of the corrections to be made are currently under
investigation and should be available by approximately the end of July.
According to current conclusions, the corrections, in accordance with IAS
8, shall be made retrospectively. By restating the comparative amounts for
the prior period (balance sheet as of December 31, 2014), these corrections
will be included in KHD's upcoming Half Year Report 2015. The restatements
to be made in the income statement for the 2014 financial year will be
disclosed in the notes of the Half Year Report 2015. The corrections will
lead to an equity reduction of several million euros.
KHD's individual financial statements prepared in accordance with German
GAAP (HGB) are not affected by the correction of the above mentioned
errors.
