The 13th annual regional awards program honors companies who recognize the importance of cultivating a great workplace culture as a competitive advantage. Employers were divided among five different categories — extra small, small, medium, large and extra large — with LogMeIn receiving honors in the "large" (250 to 999 employees) category. Companies were selected based on survey responses provided by employees. This year's honorees were recognized during a cocktail reception at the Citi Performing Arts Center on Thursday, June 18th.
Since moving its global headquarters to Boston's Fort Point district in 2013, LogMeIn has nearly doubled the number of employees in Boston and has plans to continue this growth. As a testament to this plan, the company recently purchased additional space across the street, which will not only double its workspace in the neighborhood, but create hundreds of jobs over the next few years.
