SAN DIEGO, June 23, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- via PRWEB - Cubic Global Defense(CGD), a business of Cubic Corporation (NYSE: CUB) today announced the selection of Cubic Defence Australia as the prime contractor for the Australian Army's Exercise and Advanced Services Standing Offer (EATSSO). Under the new award, Cubic will support the Australian Army with exercise planning, management and evaluation; the delivery of simulated environmental effects, including both live and constructive support; and the provision of medical training.

EATSSO replaces the existing Collective Training Services Standing Offer (CTSSO) that was also supported by Cubic since 2011. EATSSO will operate for an initial period of five years with two further optional extension periods of up to two years. Cubic's delivery of EATSSO training services is highly complementary to Cubic's other Australian capabilities in air and land live simulation and deployable instrumentation systems. Services will be flexible to requirements and will include support to both mission specific and foundation training events.
