The Urban Schools Collaborative Selects Quadrant 4's Brainchild Achiever! and Mechanics Applications Delivered on the Company's Cloud Based Digital Platform for Its Summer School Programs

ROLLING MEADOWS, Ill., June 25, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Quadrant 4 System Corporation (QFOR) ("Quadrant 4" or the "Company") announces that it has been selected by the Texas-based Urban Schools Collaborative to supply its proprietary instructional products Brainchild Achiever! and Brainchild Mechanics series in its Summer School Program and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) summer camps.

The selection is yet another indication that Quadrant 4's instructional products and digital cloud based platform technology are perfectly suited to gain market share in  the fast growing after-school education market which is estimated to reach $21.9 billion in 2015 by the Afterschool Alliance http://www.afterschoolalliance.org/

According to the industry, the number of children participating in after-school programs increased to 10.2 million in 2014, up from 8.4 million in 2009. School officials and community based organizations acknowledge there is still an enormous unmet demand for these services.  According to research by the Afterschool Alliance, this unmet demand could double current enrollments, with a potential to serve up to 20 million children per year – a demand that schools and community-based organizations are rushing to meet through programs such as the ones provided by Quadrant 4.

Ms. Paula Ware, M.Ed., President of The Urban Schools Collaborative stated, "We were looking for the best, most effective way of delivering meaningful instruction in math, literacy and science aligned to the state's education standards. The Quadrant 4 Brainchild suite's unique instructional approach lets our students access high-quality lessons and assessments with extreme fidelity - whether or not an instructional center is connected to the Internet." Ms. Ware continued, "In our testing, we found that students who spend at least 30 minutes per day on Quadrant 4's Brainchild exercises, show a consistent improvement in their understanding of the subject they are studying. We have seen significant individual advancement when we compare the students' pre and post-exercise assessment data."

"The academic intervention programs selected by The Urban School Collaborative are part of Quadrant 4's growing suite of applications delivered exclusively through our Education Exchange. Quadrant 4's Education Exchange is a cloud based, scalable platform that provides connected education tools. These tools deliver a personalized, adaptive educational experience to individuals of all ages. We are excited to be working with The Urban Schools Collaborative and believe that the results of this summer's programs will significantly help our sales and marketing teams who are already selling aggressively into thirteen southern states including Texas, Florida, Georgia and North and South Carolina," said Dr. Nandu Thondavadi, CEO of Quadrant 4.

About The Urban Schools Collaborative

The Urban School Collaborative was formed by Ms. Paula Ware after 14 years of working closely with over 100 schools in the areas of grant compliance and risk assessment. Through her extensive involvement in program implementation assurance, Ms. Ware identified a huge gap in the availability of quality summer and after school programs nationwide. This gap was even more glaring in urban districts. Ms. Ware formed The Urban School Collaborative to build relationships and programs that support the growth and progress of communities, schools, students, individuals, corporations and charities. She led the development of STEAM and Robotics programs across the city of Houston, and has garnished the support of various community based organizations including the Urban League, The Houston Museum of African American Culture, and Texas Southern University.
