NetEnt Games Now Available on Danske Spil’s Online Casino Network

NetEnt has successfully completed the integration process and a selection of its games are now live and available on www.vegas.dk, a brand within Danske Spil’s online casino network.

In March this year NetEnt, leading provider of digital gaming solutions, signed an agreement with Danske Spil to supply the Danish regulated market with casino games for both mobile and desktop.

Danske Spil provides online and land-based gaming services to consumers in Denmark. It is owned by the Danish government and hence also a member of the World Lottery Association (WLA). Danske Spil is renowned as one of the leading lottery operators in the world.

“I am very pleased to announce that we have launched our games with Danske Spil, one of the leading WLA operators. I am confident that players in Denmark will enjoy our world-class thrilling games”, says Enrico Bradamante, MD of NetEnt Malta Ltd and Chief of European Market Operations.

About Danske Spil
Danske Spil A/S, previously known as Dansk Tipstjeneste A/S, was founded in 1948. Until 1989, football betting was the only product, but this changed in 1989 when the company was authorized to also offer lottery services. In 1992 the first scratch card, Quick, entered the market, and in 1994 sports betting (Oddset) was launched. Since 2000, Danske Spil has also offered betting on horse- and dograce. In 2001, the subsidiary Danske Automatspil was founded. This subsidiary handles slot machines and merged with Elite Gaming A/S in 2011. The following year, Danske Spil bought the remaining 50.1 percent of Elite Gaming, obtaining 100 percent ownership of the company. In 2010 the Danish parliament unanimously passed the partial liberalization of the Danish gaming legislation, which allowed other suppliers of games to apply for licenses to offer sports- and online gaming products. The law entered into force in 2012, which prompted Danske Spil to establish two subsidiaries: Danske Lotteri Spil A/S, which handles the monopolized games, and Danske Licens Spil A/S, which operates the liberalized games. Danske Lotteri Spil offers, among other things, Lotto, Onsdags Lotto, Joker, Eurojackpot, Keno, Quick, Bingo and Dantoto. Danske Licens Spil offers, among other things, Poker, Casino, Oddset, Tips and Zezam. The Danish State owns 80% of Danske Spil.
