The raffle is for $100 dollars of chiropractic services at the Westlake, Ohio, office on Center Ridge Road. Dr. Michael Darr believes that surveys allow patients an opportunity to give feedback about their service, the level of care they received and any things they'd like to see changed. In return for participating in the survey, patients are able to enter the raffle.
Dr. Darr of Advanced Spinal Rehab and Wellness Center in Westlake, Ohio, never really put much faith in surveys before. "I didn't like surveys, personally," said Dr. Darr. "I never really even considered just how much other people would enjoy them – especially when we made it fun by offering a chance to win something our patients could really use." It was this everyone wins philosophy that convinced Dr. Darr to give surveys a try. The first survey was such a success for his practice that he's decided to make it an ongoing affair with the next raffle prize drawing taking place on September 1, 2015.
The biggest surprise to Dr. Darr about the initial survey though was how thoughtful the responses were. "It was really surprising to see how the people who participated seemed to generally want to help us improve by offering insightful suggestions and comments," says Dr. Darr. The genuine answers and thoughtful suggestions have given the doctor much to think about when it comes to his practice in the coming year. For now, he's already responding to information gleaned from the surveys by making the survey a long-term addition to his practice.
"We have a tendency to become blind to our own faults," says Dr. Darr. "Giving our patients an opportunity to point them out lets us know where there's room for improvement and is helping our practice grow."
