This is an update to IT-Notice 9/15 in regards to the relocation of the primary Nasdaq Nordic data center in Lunda to DigiPlex in Upplands Väsby north of Stockholm.
Time schedule
To minimize risks and to ensure a smooth relocation Nasdaq will adopt a phased approach. The relocation of the production systems will begin in April 2016 and will be completed by June 6th 2016.
Estimated time schedule is as follows:
- February 2016: Customers able to perform network access tests to DigiPlex. Customer access to the co-location area available.
- March 2016: Test systems available in DigiPlex.
- April 2016: Relocation of the surrounding production systems to DigiPlex commences.
- June 2016: The Genium INET Clearing and Trading production platform (Nordic Derivatives, Commodities, Fixed Income, FX) and the INET Trading production platform (Nordic Cash Equities) relocated to DigiPlex in early June.
All systems will be live in the new datacenter from June 7th 2016.
More detailed information regarding the data center relocation will be communicated end of September 2015.
What should I do now?
All customers currently connected with leased lines or via an extranet provider to the Lunda Verizon data center need to establish new connectivity to the DigiPlex data center. Please contact your network provider as soon as possible to start the process.
Co-location customers
Access to the co-location area will be available February 2016.
NODE customers
NODE customers will be connected to the DigiPlex data center via existing infrastructure.
