Jensína Kristín Böðvarsdóttir, Managing Director of Corporate Development & HR at Landsbankinn, has resigned her position with the Bank in accordance with a mutual agreement between the parties. Landsbankinn has been working to streamline and restructure operations and this change is part of that effort. The number of managing directors at the Bank is reduced from 6 to 7 with this change. As a division, Corporate Development & HR will cease to exist and units will be transferred to others of the Executive Board.
Jensína was engaged as Managing Director at Landsbankinn in October 2010. During that time, she has been Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Icelandic Banks’ Data Centre (RB) and been a member of the Board of Directors of Frumtak. She will continue to represent the Bank on the Board of Directors of Frumtak.
