Caverion has signed a contract with general contractor Fira Oy on the total technical solutions of building systems to the renovation of the Elisa Head Office in Helsinki.  The contract covers heating and sanitation, ventilation and air conditioning, cooling, electricity and security and safety systems. Caverion is in charge of advisory services and design & engineering as well as project management and project execution. The value of the contract is approximately EUR 5.7 million.

The renovated office premises are to be completed in August 2016 and cover a total of 16,000 m² in two properties owned by Varma and Nordea Life. The office premises are renovated to meet the criteria of Elisa’s new business premises concept.

“This project is very demanding as the work is carried out in business premises that are in use all the time and according to a tight schedule. Seamless cooperation between the included parties is a prerequisite for success. We chose the partner together with the client, and, in addition to financial matters, the communicational skills of the contact persons as well as technical competence were underlined. We believe we have a team that can meet the orderer’s expectations,” says Pekka Siponen from Fira Oy.
