Pipes to Cover Metals and Mining as Research Analyst

Pipes in its Equity Research group. Mr. Pipes will cover the metals and mining sector for the firm and will be based in the company's Arlington, VA headquarters.

Lucas N. Pipes comes to FBR from Brean Capital, LLC in New York where he was most recently Managing Director and Senior Analyst in its energy group. While at Brean, he received the Institutional Investor Rising Star award in 2012 for his coverage of the sector. He is a graduate of Bard College.
