Playa Resorts Management Appoints John Burkard Vice President of Technology


FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla., July 10, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Alex Stadlin, Chief Operating Officer of Playa Resorts Management (Playa) today announced the appointment John Burkard as Vice President of Technology.  Mr. Burkard joins Playa from Vantage Hospitality Group in Coral Springs, FL.  He brings more than 20 years of experience in managing and developing IT solutions for hospitality companies, having also held management positions with Cendant Corporation, My Travel USA and Marriott International.

"John's extensive experience in implementing and managing state-of-the-art technology systems for reservations and hospitality management will be a tremendous asset to Playa as we continue to grow our portfolio of Hyatt Zilara and Hyatt Ziva all-inclusive resorts, as well as our independently branded all-inclusive resorts," said Mr. Stadlin.
