Hill International Executives Receive Recognition from AACE


PHILADELPHIA, July 13, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Hill International (NYSE:HIL), the global leader in managing construction risk, announced today that three of its executives have received recognition from AACE International.

Mark E. von Leffern, PMP, PSP, EVP, Project Controls Engineer with Hill's Los Angeles, California office, has received AACE's Charles V. Keane Distinguished Service Award, which is presented to an AACE member who has consistently endeavored to enhance the professional improvement of AACE members, through the advancement of knowledge, the cultivation of friendly relations among professionals, the maintenance of high professional standards, and cooperation with other professional societies in a manner consistent with the objective of AACE. Von Leffern, currently the President of AACE's Southern California Section, has more than 15 years of project and financial management experience in the aerospace, defense, telecommunications, transportation and energy industries. Von Leffern earned his B.A. in environmental analysis and design and his M.B.A. from the University of California at Irvine. He is certified as a Project Management Professional, a Project and Scheduling Professional and an Earned Value Professional.

Michael R. Nosbisch, CCP, PSP, FAACE, Vice President in Hill's Irvine, California office, has been named a Fellow of AACE, which is given in recognition of professional attainment and significant accomplishment in cost management or cost engineering. Nosbisch, a former President of AACE, has more than 20 years of experience in project management, management consulting, accounting, cost engineering, planning, scheduling and contract administration. He earned his B.A. in geological sciences from the University of Rochester and his M.E.M. in engineering management from George Washington University. Nosbisch is a Certified Cost Professional and a Project and Scheduling Professional.

Drew N. Ray, PSP, Managing Consultant in Hill's Las Vegas, Nevada office, has been elected President of AACE's Nevada Section.  Ray has more than 15 years of project management experience in the engineering and construction industry.  His diverse construction project experience includes casino, mixed-use, residential, resort, educational, institutional, commercial, transportation and public works projects. He has pursued coursework at the University of Nevada at Las Vegas and he is a certified Planning and Scheduling Professional (PSP).
