CALGARY, Alberta, July 31, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Toscana Energy Income Corporation ("Toscana Energy" or the "Company") (TSX:TEI) announces that its board of directors (the "Board") has appointed Anand Ramnath as Interim Chief Financial Officer of Toscana Energy effective July 31, 2015. This appointment follows the departure of Shawna Chicilo as the Company's Chief Financial Officer.
Ms. Chicilo served as the Chief Financial Officer of Toscana Energy since 2011. The Company and the Board would like to thank Ms. Chicilo for her service and contributions to the Company over the last four years.
Mr. Ramnath has over 18 years of relevant accounting and financial reporting experience. Mr. Ramnath has been the Manager of Corporate Reporting of Toscana Energy since 2013 and prior thereto provided financial consulting services to the Company.
