Ian Peterson Named Division President


MINNEAPOLIS and ST. PAUL, Minn., Aug. 4, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- David Weekley Homes, America's largest private home builder, will begin building in Minneapolis/St. Paul this fall, and announces Ian Peterson as Division President.

Division President Ian Peterson joins David Weekley Homes with more than 20 years in the home building industry, including holding executive-level positions at several prominent Midwest home builders. He has been recognized for his work in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area with the 2013 Builders Association of the Twin Cities Advocate of the Year Award. Peterson earned a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from Michigan State University and a master's degree in project management from Northwestern University.

The Pines at Elm Creek in Plymouth will be the second community of David Weekley homes. The builder will also build single-family homes in Chanhassen, Minnetonka and Maple Grove.
