Eglė Gudelytė-Harvey, Head of Legal Affairs at Teo, is taking on new responsibilities at TeliaSonera Group


From 1 September 2015 Eglė Gudelytė-Harvey, Head of Legal Affairs at IT and telecommunications company Teo, will join the Regulatory team at the TeliaSonera Legal Office and will be responsible for regulatory affairs. 

The role of E. Gudelytė-Harvey at the Regulatory team of TeliaSonera Group will include monitoring, analyzing and explaining developments in telecom legal and regulatory framework, provision of legal advice, and active cooperation with the European Union authorities responsible for that as well as with market participants. The main areas of her responsibility will be broadband regulation, including access regulation and pricing, interconnection issues, which relate to the whole TeliaSonera Group and the 15 TeliaSonera subsidiaries. The European Commission has launched the ambitious Digital Single Market strategy, therefore there are going to be many changes in the regulatory field.

Having started her career at the company as Legal Expert in 1999, from 2001 E. Gudelytė-Harvey became the Director of Legal and Corporate Affairs Unit, in 2007 – the Director of Corporate Administration and Legal Affairs Unit, and since the middle of 2014 she has been in the position of the Head of Legal Affairs at Teo. At present, her responsibilities are temporarily taken over by Paulius Pakutinskas, Executive Legal Advisor at Teo. 

E. Gudelytė-Harvey holds a Master of Law degree from the Vilnius University and a Diploma in EU Competition Law and a Master of EU Competition Law from the King's College London (United Kingdom).
