MacAulay-Brown Employee Honored for Outstanding Achievement

Blanche Witte Memorial Foundation Award Presented at National Contract Management Association (NCMA) World Congress 2015

DAYTON, OH, Aug. 10, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- MacAulay-Brown, Inc. (MacB), a leading National Security company delivering advanced engineering services and product solutions to Defense, Intelligence, Special Operations Forces, Homeland Security and Federal agencies, announced today that the National Contract Management Association (NCMA) honored MacB employee April Darrin with the 2014 Blanche Witte Memorial Foundation Award. Darrin was presented the prestigious award in July during NCMA World Congress 2015 in Dallas, Texas.

As Senior Contracts Manager at MacB, Darrin was chosen for the award for leading a team to successfully prepare for certification of the company's Contractor Purchasing System by the Defense Contractor Management Agency (DCMA). Additionally, NCMA recognized Darrin's dedication to her local community as a volunteer, educating small businesses about government contracting and the procurement process. She has more than 23 years of experience in the field, and joined MacB in 2008.

"Having a certified Contractor Purchasing System at MacB increases the government's confidence in our internal processes, which is critical to our success in the industry," says Vicki Summers, Vice President of Contracts and Procurement. "April's leadership and dedication is the reason we achieved this hard-won certification, and why we are continuously prepared to recertify when needed. On behalf of everyone at MacB, I'd like to congratulate her on this well-deserved national award."
