The Council of JSC Latvijas balzams announced today the appointment of Seymour Ferreira as interim Chairman of the Board of JSC Latvijas balzams, effective 1st September 2015.
Seymour Ferreira is Chairman of the board of Amber Beverage Group and an industry professional with more than 25 years experience in alcohol beverages and consumer goods. Before joining Amber Beverage Group in 2013 Seymour held senior positions in Maxxium, Allied Domecq, UDV (now Diageo) and Mars in the Asian, Eastern and Western Europe markets.
Current Chairman of the Board Guntis Aboltins –Abolins will be leaving his position as of August 31, 2015; in order to develop his career outside of Amber Beverage Group and outside of the beverage industry.
Guntis Aboltins–Abolins took the position of Chairman of the JSC Latvijas balzams Board on 15th February, 2012.
The Chairman of the Council Aigars Kalvitis extended his best wishes and thanks to Guntis for his contribution to the growth of the company and promotion of the industry.
