LogMeIn Enlists Art Community to Help Re-launch Brand

Simply Possible Exhibit Brings Together Fort Point's Art and Tech Communities

BOSTON, Aug. 18, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- LogMeIn, Inc. (Nasdaq:LOGM), the largest high tech company in Boston's Fort Point neighborhood, is taking a fresh and decidedly 'Fort Point' approach to re-launching its corporate brand: It is enlisting the neighborhood's famed art community. Under the banner of "Simply Possible," the brand re-launch speaks to the company's increasingly ambitious mission, global growth and expanding portfolio. As a key part of that effort, LogMeIn worked with the Fort Point Arts Community (FPAC) to facilitate the commission of six original works of art by local artists that represent an open-ended interpretation of what the Simply Possible theme means to them. Today, LogMeIn is opening its doors to its neighbors, local Fort Point artists, and key members of the community to celebrate and showcase the results of each artist's work.

The brand re-launch and related work with FPAC comes as LogMeIn prepares to double its presence in the neighborhood. The company opened its worldwide headquarters at 320 Summer Street in April of 2013, a 110,000 square foot facility housed in a historic brick-and-beam warehouse. It has since signed a lease, across the street, at 333 Summer Street, and is in the process of renovating the 117,000-square-foot facility. In addition to the art exhibit, attendees will get a sneak peak of floor plans and photos of the progress of the new building's transformation.

As part of the Simply Possible launch, LogMeIn plans to commission similar local art partnerships and initiatives in its offices across the globe, ultimately allowing for the respective art work to be exchanged and exhibited in places like Budapest, Hungary; Dublin, Ireland; London, England; San Francisco, California, and beyond.

"We have a saying at LogMeIn – a driving mission – that when everything is connected, anything is possible. So as we looked to re-launch the brand to reflect our broader ambitions, we wanted to fully embrace the ways we connect with customers, partners, and our communities," said W. Sean Ford, LogMeIn's CMO. "By teaming up with the Fort Point's renowned art community, we had an opportunity to fully embrace the artists' creativity and imagination to best illustrate this concept, while giving our neighbors a new way to be involved in the growth of the area."
