On 18 August 2015 Šiaulių Bankas has received a notification from the Bank of Lithuania stating that the Board of the Bank of Lithuania passed a resolution to agree with reorganization of the bank Finasta AB merging it with Šiaulių Bankas AB by acquisition.
Reorganization of the bank Finasta AB and financial brokerage firm Finasta AB merging these companies with Šiaulių Bankas by acquisition can be closed only upon receiving permission from the supervisory authorities. Therefore, after receiving consent from the Bank of Lithuania, Šiaulių Bankas and the companies subject to reorganizing, i.e. the bank Finasta AB and financial brokerage firm Finasta AB will apply the Bank of Lithuania as required by the laws asking to grant permission for reorganization.
