Sears Hometown and Outlet Stores Raises More than $217,000 for Make-A-Wish(R)

National Retailer Continues Support of Make-A-Wish to Help Grant Wishes for Children With Life-Threatening Medical Conditions


HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill., Aug. 25, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- With its 1,200-plus locations nationwide, Sears Hometown and Outlet Stores, Inc. (NASDAQ:SHOS) raised more than $217,000 this past spring during a two-week charitable program in support of Make-A-Wish®.

As a part of its continuing relationship with Make-A-Wish, customers at Sears Appliance & Hardware Stores, Sears Outlet Stores, Sears Hometown Stores and Sears Home Appliance Showrooms received a discount off a future purchase when they donated $5 or more to Make-A-Wish.
