GovDelivery to Host 6th Annual UK Public Sector Communications Conference

Event Presents Keynotes From Industry Leaders and Recognises Digital Strategy and Impact Award Winners


LONDON, Sept. 1, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- GovDelivery, the leading provider of cloud-based public sector communications solutions, today announced the agenda for its 6th Annual UK Public Sector Communications Conference to be held 16 September at the Park Plaza Victoria London. The full-day event will include keynotes from leading communication experts who will present on measuring the value of digital audiences and share best practices in connecting communications strategy with open data.

This year's keynotes include communications researcher and expert Guy Dominy, the co-author of Measuring Both Halves, who will present on measuring the financial value of a digitally engaged citizen. Andrew Hoppin, president of NuCivic, will also present an in-depth take on easy strategies to maximise open data for government. Additionally, attendees will hear from their public sector peers, including Alison Davies, web analytics manager at the Office for National Statistics, Alan Ferguson, web manager at the Central Bedfordshire Council, Eddie Coates-Madden, head of communications at Sheffield City Council, Richard Pearson, marketing and business development manager for the Southampton City Council, and Rosie Seymour, deputy director for the Department for Communities and Local Government.
