Thanks Again Receives Strategic Investment from Technology Partner Comarch SA

ATLANTA, Ga., Sept. 3, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- via PRWEB - Thanks Again®, the world's only airport loyalty coalition, is pleased to announce a strategic investment by Comarch SA, a leading global IT solutions provider. As a result of this $8 million cash transaction, Comarch SA becomes a significant minority shareholder of Thanks Again LLC and joins the company's Board.

For the last 2 years, Thanks Again's loyalty and rewards management platform has used a customized version of the Comarch Loyalty Management (CLM) software. Comarch has also assisted Thanks Again with integrating its PCI Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) Level 1 compliant platform with card linked services provided by the three leading international payment card networks. Thanks Again intends to use proceeds from the Comarch investment to enhance its unique CRM+Loyalty service for airports and enrolled members throughout North America, Latin America and other key global markets. This will include near-term launch of upgraded mobile applications for both member travelers and airport executives.

The upgraded application features will include easier member enrollment, integration with Facebook, new redemption options, payment with rewards (in real time at the point of sale), and a powerful new reporting dashboard with enhanced data analytics capabilities for airport and merchant clients. Thanks Again's enhanced business intelligence (BI) dashboard for airports, for example, will give airport executives unprecedented visibility into airport passengers' purchasing behaviors, as well as provide significant insight into the performance of retail, food and beverage, and parking operations. A major upgrade to the company's smartphone app in the fourth quarter of 2015 will include a full complement of loyalty and rewards redemption functionality. Also, in conjunction with the release of the new application features, Thanks Again will offer expanded passenger engagement tools for participating airports and merchants.

"Thanks Again is very pleased that Comarch, our core technology partner, has chosen to make a significant equity investment in our firm," remarked Marc Ellis, Thanks Again Co-Founder and CEO. Ellis added, "This investment will enable Thanks Again to grow our business far more rapidly as well as provide greater value-added service to both members and clients."

Professor Janusz Filipiak, Comarch Founder and CEO stated "This investment will facilitate and expand the scope of Comarch's operations related to developing customer loyalty and CRM systems for airports and airlines."
