LogFire Names Mark Lewis Oracle Practice Director

Former Oracle Leader Strengthens LogFire’s Strategic Direction

ATLANTA, Sept. 15, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- LogFire, the leading cloud-based provider of supply chain fulfillment solutions, announced today that Mark Lewis has joined the company as Oracle practice director and will be in charge of all aspects of the Oracle and LogFire partnership. His role will be to develop technical, operational and go-to-market frameworks to provide Oracle customers with a full, cloud-based, warehouse management solution.

“With LogFire being a part of the Oracle ecosystem, it’s important for our Oracle customers to have a seamless experience—in both service and technology,” said LogFire CEO Diego Pantoja-Navajas. “Mark’s knowledge and wealth of experience are invaluable, and we look forward to the leading role he will play in growing our business.”

With more than two decades of supply chain experience, over half with Oracle, Lewis is an Oracle subject matter expert and is well equipped to ensure an optimal experience for Oracle and LogFire customers.

“LogFire WMS occupies a strategic position in the Oracle Supply Chain Management Cloud,” said Lewis. “I’m excited to join the LogFire team and leverage these cloud technologies to provide an industry-leading solution for our customers.”

The joint solution, announced on August 10, provides best-of-breed warehousing and transportation functionality while leveraging the benefits of a 100 percent cloud-based solution. This offers the end user:

  • A Digital Fulfillment Network: Manage, track and visualize inventory across fulfillment centers, 3PLs, store shelves and inventory in-transit with real-time data. Companies will gain speed and reduce fulfillment costs by connecting networks in real-time.

  • Ability to Re-think and Re-design Your Supply Chain: Move from a flat supply chain approach to a multi-dimensional network approach. The cloud provides a real network approach, driven by real-time data, allowing organizations to adapt to ever-changing marketplace conditions.

  • Increased Focus on Your Business, Not on Maintaining Your Software Applications: Convert resources allocated to supporting your supply chain technology stack to revenue-generating resources focused on sales growth, cash flow and margin improvement.
